This project was a spec home built to encourage first-time homeowners to move to downtown Charleston. The dark maple cabinets in the kitchen made the already tight living space feel even smaller. Kris selected a light color and light furniture to liven up the space. Custom fabricated steel brackets allowed for the existing cabinetry to be removed, giving the kitchen a much more modern feel.
Kris painted the TV room with graphic stripes to give the 9' x 11' space an updated look and paired it with a custom TV cabinet built in the place of an existing closet. Overall, the home now feels custom to its Owner, all completed on a very small budget!
